Thursday Open Technology Lab
Privacy
Watching and reading this lab does not require an account. This page does not replace the site privacy notes, and it is not a certification.
Watching and reading
The lesson, activity, and archive are public pages. gunnchOS does not ask you to sign in to use them.
Twitch and YouTube are third-party video hosts. The replay player is not loaded until you choose Load replay. Loading their player connects your browser to that host. You can use Watch on Twitch instead, or skip the video and still do the activity.
Submissions
The submission backend is separate and is not open. When it opens, anonymous participation is supported. A name and email are optional and are not required to take part.
gunnchOS does not sell submission data. Submission files are not used to train AI without separate explicit consent. Choosing the Engineer / Researcher lane is a learning depth. It is not enrollment in human-subjects research.
Site browsing, embedded video, educational submissions, and a public showcase are different choices. One of them does not quietly become another.
What this site already measures
The gateway sends one first-party timing sample, time to first byte, to /api/vitals. That route checks the shape of the request and returns an empty response. It does not set an advertising cookie, record a session replay, or build a profile. The Open Lab does not require that request. No advertising tracker was added for this program.
